Systems feature robots, rotary hearth hardening furnaces, endothermic or nitrogen-methanol atmosphere mixing & control systems, quench presses with oil or glycol quenchant systems, conveyors, & parts washers.I was responsible for design, procurement and production supervision of the furnace atmosphere systems, hardening furnaces, conveyors & parts washers. I participated in design and integration of the other systems as well. I helped QPS Electrical Engineers develop & establish control algorithms and methods. I assisted QPS personnel with production methods & quality problems. I directed activities of manufacturing personnel working on the equipment for which I was responsible.
