Charlie Durr has worked in the LNG industry for 46 years.
He worked as VP LNG for Wood Group Mustang from Feb 2013 to June 2015 and was responsible for LNG, both onshore and offshore.
He worked for KBR from 1969 to 2012 with last postion of Technology VP, LNG, FLNG,GTL and Gas Processing. A Chemical Engineer, he graduated in 1969 with an M.S. degree from Manhattan College. Currently, his primary focus is strategy, the development, application and execution of LNG, FLNG, GTL and Gas Processing technologies. During his 43-year career with KBR he worked in many positions including Technology VP, LNG, FLNG,GTL and Gas Processing. Charlie has worked on twelve liquefaction facilities, thirty receiving terminals, seven FLNG developments, three GTL plants and eight world-scale gas processing plants. He has authored 80 papers, holds eight patents, has participated as a chairman and committee member in many LNG and gas processing conferences. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
