I run our 3 week sprints as the scrum master and help with prioritisation with our product management team. In the first project I designed and implemented a secure data storage system for credit card information provided by customers of Unwired. I performed a through gap analysis of all the systems at Unwired for compliance with OWASP security standards as well as others mandated by Visa, MasterCard and the Reserve Bank of Australia. In the second project I provided a AJAX based map client which allowed potential customers to see a heat map view of Unwired's broadband coverage for any address. This project required development in conjunction with thirdparty mapping provider Multimap.com (a UK based company, now owned by Microsoft). I provided complete design documentation to aid future development and also conducted system design training to team members for ongoing development of the project. From September 2005 to June 2006 (10 months) Software Engineer @ As a software engineer at Proximity I worked on the development on various products from the Proximity product line. I was involved in all phases of the SDLC from requirements analysis to implementation and feature documentation in addition to enabling the sales team to prepare proposals by providing technical integration and implementation plans. I worked on a web UI built from the ground on the LAMP stack, a multi-threaded asynchronous Java thin client, multi-threaded backend components built in C++ for various image and video transcoding tasks.
