I'm an experienced growth marketer whose refusal to specialize has led to a breadth of experience in all facets of marketing and product strategy. I like to tie things together into a cohesive, scalable strategy, and then get to work making it happen. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, but also like to make sure my work adds long-term value, and will ask the right questions to make sure it does.
As the first marketing hire at GrubHub, I helped the company grow from three cities to over 500, and created and implemented strategies for SEM, SEO, email marketing, conversion, mobile, engagement, and M&A with an emphasis on scalable solutions and continuous improvement through measurement. But what I'm most proud of is the team I managed, whose ability to innovate and execute at the highest level astounded me daily. I now lead the growth team at Pinterest, where we're working on user growth via SEO, email, push notifications, conversion optimization, app installs, and paid acquisition both in the US and internationally.
I also recently completed my MBA at night, and enjoy connecting the dots from my coursework to my day to day job. I'm borderline obsessive about startup and business strategy, so when I'm not working at Pinterest you'll probably find me trying to break down other companies' marketing campaigns or analyzing new startups' abilities to succeed. I spend what little downtime I have listening to a lot of obscure music and trying to avoid eating too many cookies.
