I have 10+ years of marketing and communications experience, 4 years in Asia, 4 in the Middle East and 5+ in the USA. My passion is problem solving, and as a strategic thinker and key account lead I have had the privilege of developing creative communication strategies to solve a multitude of complex business challenges across industries around the world. I thrive in an agency environment and specialize in developing strong and lasting partnerships with major multi-national clients. I have undergraduate degrees in Marketing, Business and Political Science from Santa Clara University and a Masters Degree in Economics from the UIB in Spain. VP Regional Head of Strategy and Intelligence @ As regional head of strategy I am responsible for aligning the market level strategic communications objectives on projects & campaigns’ with the overall strategic communications direction for the our clients brands at the market level specifically Chevrolet, Cadillac, Isuzu, and other GM brands. I am the regional champion of Carat’s Integrated Communication Planning (ICP) process which ensures that communication plans are grounded in deep consumer understanding, reflect strong activation ideas and include all relevant consumer touch points across paid, owned and earned media. I work closely with the insights/intelligence and communications teams both in market, at the regional level and with the global team to deliver communications strategies that put the consumer at the center of the planning process. From August 2014 to Present (1 year 3 months) SingaporeAsia Pacific Client Services Manager @ I am the account lead handling Kimberly Clark, British American Tobacco and others across the 17 major markets in Asia Pacific. Along with my team, I am responsible for woking with my clients to identify ways in which Barrows products and services can help achieve their commercial and communications objectives. I also work closely with our global creative and strategic teams to develop new products and services that will ensure that Barrows is an indispensable partner for our key accounts. I am wholly responsible for the P&L on all of my projects and am an active and enthusiastic of our business development team working to develop new clients as well as growing our relationship with existing ones. From May 2012 to August 2014 (2 years 4 months) SingaporeSenior Client Manager @ I initiated strategic initiatives / thinking, and was accountable for account growth, client satisfaction, and retention. I lead the development and execution of strategy in collaboration with the team and was responsible for balancing the needs of clients with internal goals. I encouraged the use of “best practices” and effective processes across the department and agency and champion new processes to increase efficiency where needed. I also participated in strategic development of new business such as RFP responses and proposal writing. I lead the internship program and participated in the development of agency talent on the CS team. From February 2010 to March 2012 (2 years 2 months) Client Director @ I managed a portfolio of accounts, dealing with all aspects of project management from project conception to completion. I was responsible for writing and presenting project proposals, developing and seeing through strategic objectives on behalf of the client and the company, as well as research and development to advance the internal capabilities of the team. I also made improvements to internal administrative systems and processes to help better serve our clients and improve our company’s efficiency. From November 2008 to January 2010 (1 year 3 months) DubaiClient Director @ I managed a portfolio of accounts; the agency’s largest, and was responsible from account management from RFP analysis and proposal submission to project completion and follow up. I was responsible for achieving sales targets, writing and presenting project proposals to decision makers, and new business development. From October 2007 to November 2008 (1 year 2 months) DubaiConsultant and Project Manager @ I was a part of the 3 person team responsible for the launch of Silverjet in the UAE. I was the project manager on the account in charge of production management, media buying, traffic, and account services. I was simultaneously working on the launch of Outdoor Concept’s Caveman BBQs, as well as a month long promotion between Premier Neige and Ski Dubai. From September 2007 to October 2007 (2 months) DubaiSenior Buyer/ Planner @ Responsible for industry trend analysis, forecasting and projections. As well as purchasing and development of products and lines new to our store(s) including coordination with vendors for advertising coop campaigns and in store POP. In addition I managed inventory, calculated projections, controlled sell through, and maintained margin control.
