Business Cost Analyst for Acrylic Monomers @ •Provide financial leadership and support to all levels of plant operations, maintenance and capital spending project managers by providing timely and accurate reporting and analysis for actual results, budget and forecast needs. Provide trend, key data and statistical or other ad-hoc analyses as requested. Update plant and regional business leaders regularly to ensure that any significant manufacturing financial issues or areas for concern are raised and addressed timely. •Drive management systems and training to deliver value from cost accounting, cost analysis, and cost controls. This includes implementing best in class maintenance spending forecast and controls, Turnaround spending forecast and controls, and driving consistent KPIs across all plants. •Develop site specific manufacturing performance metrics. •Organize, develop and manage annual manufacturing budgets related to maintenance and operations for the BU (RPE, OAU, MUV, and Production). •Validate allocation of costs to produced products. •Act as financial liaison and subject matter expert for the manufacturing cost planning, budget, and other related operational processes, including troubleshooting and support. •Prepare analysis, business presentations, and reference materials for BU and manufacturing management by providing inputs to the monthly, quarterly and annual results. •Design/Build manufacturing performance cost models with robust tracking tools (MS Access and Excel), educating managers and technicians on key areas to focus on cost savings and plant optimization. •Independently identify savings and optimization opportunities in RPE, MUV, and OAU areas. •Lead projects focused on realizing savings from identified improvement opportunities. •Track the Energy Intensity across the BU, and work with the Corporate Energy Team to improve our position. •Provide oversight of the production data analyst and serve as the back-up for reconciliation and closing activities for the business unit.
