Having gained experiences in property and hospitality, including 4 years spent running a business with my husband, two years ago I decided to try my hand at recruitment and joined a recruitment consultancy in Exeter. It was an excellent opportunity and a real eye-opener. I discovered a passion for working with a variety of businesses and helping them with their recruitment needs. We would provide tailored solutions to each client, working closely with the HR and Resourcing teams to develop talent sourcing strategies. This included ATS suggestions, candidate journey improvements, job posting strategies, employer branding, active sourcing and much more.
Crowdcube was a client of mine and I placed candidates in their Tech, Marketing, Operations and Legal teams. I am now Head of Talent at Crowdcube and part of a vibrant, passionate and ideas fuelled team. My responsibilities include developing a recruitment strategy and all that that entails; and sourcing the brightest talent for our Exeter and London offices.
