From June 2009 to Present (6 years 5 months) Project Manager @ I have continuously taken part in the processes of proposals and pre-sales for the delivery area of the company. My main achievement was the acquisition of a re-engineering project for two years, which was valued in over US$ 4.000.000.
I participate as an internal auditor for different projects carried out by TCS; the main objective being to check wether or not these proyects are complying to iQMS standards (internal TCS stadards based on CMMi, ISO 9001:2000, ISO/IEC 20000:2005, ISO/IEC 27001:2005). From September 2004 to May 2009 (4 years 9 months) Onsite Project Leader @ I was the Onsite Project Leader of a development and data migration project for an important multi-national financial company. My main functions being in this position have been the following: maintain the business relationships with the client; defining and putting into practice the strategy and the different associated processes to undertake the project; coordinating and monitoring the tasks and activities of my team; coordinating and monitoring the tasks of the software factories and also the tasks of the client team. This project was distributed in three locations: Santiago (Chile) as the operating headquarters, having Chennai (India) and Montevideo (Uruguay) as software factories.
During this time I was also teaching classes of Modeling and Programming during the first semester; the aim of this course was to provide the students with the knowledge and tools to create object-oriented designs, using in order to achieve this, explainable principles and heuristic. From February 2005 to December 2007 (2 years 11 months) IT Consultant @ I undertook as a Consultant in the Due Diligence study comprising the different AFP systems existing in Latin America, mainly focusing in Chile and Peru. The aim of the mentioned study was to define a roadmap for the implementation of a scalable and customizable core platform for the administration of pension funds throughout Latin America. From January 2005 to February 2005 (2 months) Software Architect @ SW Architect, developing the first prototype of the company's C4I Strategic System. Also took part as a business analyst focusing on gathering requirements specific to the Department of Intelligence and Counter-Intelligence.
The Strategic C4I is a system that allows you to plan and conduct operations, appreciate and understand the situation in a theater of operations, adapt and exploit their changes and evolutions, to select courses of action, formulate plans and orders, monitor the implementation of the operations and evaluate results.
Similarly, it allows the collection, processing, disseminating and protecting of the information to assess the situation that exists, besides solving, supervising and coordinating the employment of dependent forces towards a common goal.
