Hello and welcome to my Linkedin profile. Let's get started with a quick bio about myself. I'm Bruce Lam. As a local resident in the South Bay Area in California, I am immersed in Silicon Valley's tech, business, and sports scene (Go Giants and A's!). I graduated from UC Davis in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Asian American Studies with a Minor in English Studies. I enrolled to CSU Sacramento for the Single Subject teaching program to earn my English teaching credentials. I taught for a short term period at San Jose Conservation Corps Charter School, but decided to pursue higher education counseling as a Student Services Advisor and Online Coordinator at Heald College. After working in the education and higher education field for 3 years, I wanted more. I turned to Corporate Recruiting with a focus in technical recruiting. I discovered that I really enjoy business, human resource management, technology, and (gasp!) Paperwork.
