From March 2006 to December 2011 (5 years 10 months) Jacksonville, Florida AreaChief Architect @ I worked as the chief architect for Expand, Inc. a defense contractor for the United States Air Force. During my time at Expand, I worked on the Visual Simulation Objects (VSO) platform, and designed executable architectures to support warfighters in Iraq and Afghanistan. From September 2002 to March 2006 (3 years 7 months) Orlando, Florida AreaSenior Software Engineer @ I led the development of intranet and sales support applications for the Xomed division in Jacksonville. In this role, I worked with business stakeholders to define our technology strategy, and led the team that implemented it. From April 1999 to October 2001 (2 years 7 months) Jacksonville, Florida AreaSoftware Engineer @ Right out of high school, I took a job with a small defense contractor working for the United States Navy. This was an incredibly opportunity to learn every aspect of the engineering lifecycle: requirements analysis, development, configuration management, and testing.
