From November 2009 to January 2010 (3 months) Recruiting Manager @ *Barr was acquired by Teva in 6/2008, All exempt employees were granted a 12 month severance package which I began 2/2009.* • Managed recruiting teams servicing Information Technology and the National Sales force with 4 direct reports while individually maintained a full workload of requirements. • Collaborated with National Sales Trainer and sales management on the Targeted Selection (S.T.A.R.) interview process ensuring process is followed and standards are maintained. • Provided weekly status reports to both the CIO and the VP of Sales as well as ad-hoc meetings with their direct subordinates to discuss recruiting trends and priorities. • Created and managed recruiting-wide vendor performance metric tracking system to determine contract renewals with staffing firms on a yearly basis. • Created and managed invoice tracking process to ensure correct and timely payment to approved vendors. • Tracked AAP hiring to maintain compliance with established guidelines on a quarterly basis. • Managed employee relations in the sales force and IT areas in conjunction with the Human Resource Business Partner. • Conducted college career fairs at local colleges and universities representing the Barr brand to soon-to-be members of the workforce. From October 2007 to February 2009 (1 year 5 months) Recruiting Manager @ Recruiting Manager (converted from contract to FTE status January 2007) • Managed internal hiring process of FTEs including sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, negotiating salaries and hiring Associate to VP level openings across the VMU organization using Taleo software to facilitate. • Worked closely with Director through VP level hiring managers to formulate job requisition descriptions, source and screen and interview prospective candidates along with the hiring manager and their team of interviewers. • Worked closely with the compensation team to help determine offers from external benchmarking and peer compensation data. • Member of the new hire orientation team who would on-board incoming employees each Monday. • Managed client groups in Finance, Technology, Mobile Devices and Mobile Content at Warren NJ and Walnut Creek, CA locations. From September 2006 to October 2007 (1 year 2 months) Contract Recruiter @ Contract Recruiter • Managed internal hiring process of FTEs including sourcing, qualifying, interviewing and negotiating salaries for Analyst to Senior Vice President level openings within Citigroup Technology Infrastructure with roughly 70 openings. • Worked closely with AVP through Senior VP level hiring managers to formulate requirement descriptions, facilitate interviews with prospective candidates, and when offers are to be made, conduct salary comparisons of current team members when determining compensation offerings to potential new hires. • Managed the Approval to Offer (ATO) process to assure approvals are signed off for by senior CTI management, senior HR management, and ultimately financial controls (FinCon.) • Managed clients at multiple locations: Warren NJ, Weehawken NJ, Englewood Cliffs NJ, 388/390 Greenwich Street NYC, Melville NY, Baltimore MD, Sioux Falls SD, Tampa FL, and Westlake TX. From April 2006 to September 2006 (6 months) Contract Recruiter @ Contract Recruiter • Managed internal hiring process of both FTE’s and Independent contractors, including sourcing, qualifying, interviewing and negotiating salaries and hourly rates for Associate to Executive Director level openings within Prime Brokerage and Investment Management roughly 65 openings at any given time. • Managed approved vendors by ensuring timely turnaround of candidates when requirements were released through vendor/candidate/requirement management software, Peopleclick. • Worked closely with VP and ED level hiring managers to formulate requirement descriptions, facilitated conference calls between hiring managers and vendors when new openings are posted to Peopleclick, and conducted peer reviews of current team members when determining total reward offerings to potential new hires using Peoplesoft. From August 2005 to April 2006 (9 months) Senior Recruiter @ • Maintained existing relationships and cultivated new relationships with hiring managers at client sites, including JP Morgan, Citigroup, Pfizer, and United Health Care where Genesis 10 is a preferred vendor. • Maintained a net spread of $1.3M per year at a diversified client base across the technology spectrum from June 2000 to present. • Recruited and placed highly skilled technical professionals recruiting in all technologies within the Client Server, Networking/Support, Web-based, Mainframe, Midrange areas.
