I am currently employed by Pandora Jewelry as the Vice President of Sales for AUS/NZ, responsible for a network of over 110 Pandora Concept Stores and 350 Multi Brand Jewellery accounts, Pandora is one of the worlds fastest growing brands. Founded in Denmark in 1982, Pandora began operations in Australia in October 2004. Pandora has two main distribution networks, a wholesale business selling into multi branded retailers and a retail business with its ‘Pandora’ branded stores. As the VP Sales, I am responsible for the strategic delivery of our product to market. This includes responsiblity for the sales budget, E-Commerce and the operations of our Owned & Operated stores.. Using a hands on management style, where interacting with franchisees and internal stakeholders, showing empathy and understanding, we have been able to develop a network that has a culture of collaboration and success while still delivering exceptional performance.VP Sales @ From September 2015 to Present (4 months) National Franchise & Development Manager @ Pandora is one of the worlds fastest growing brands. Currently, Pandora has approx 100 Retail Stores (Franchised and Company Owned) that account for 65% of its revenue. As the Head of Franchise & Development, I am responsible for the strategic delivery of our product to market. This includes oversight of all our distribution channels with a key focus on operations and roll out of the Pandora Concept stores. From site selection, franchise recruitment, design, shop fit, training and execution of store opening. On an ongoing basis, I am responsible for the relationship between the franchisee's and Pandora. This include delivery of Franchise Business Reviews, Chairing the FAC, hosting the annual franchise conference, actioning the annual franchisee satisfaction survey and managing the contractual obligations under the agreement. Using a hands on management style, where interacting with franchisees, showing empathy and understanding for all stakeholders is key, we have been able to develop a network that has a culture of collaboration and success. With an open and honest communication style where respect and courtesy is shown to all, the Pandora business has shown stellar growth in both numbers and Like for Like sales performance. While we did not win the award, the Franchise Advisory Council, open and honest communication style where respect and courtesy is shown to all, has created a culture of collaboration and success. From May 2013 to Present (2 years 8 months) National Franchise Manager @ In my previous role, I was involved as Pandora went through a period of extra-ordinary strategic change. This revolved around a review of our distribution strategy and then an implementation of the review. This change also needed to be undertaken with integrity, consideration and understanding. I have extensive retail and franchise management experience gained while working for Pandora, Bakers Delight as the Franchise Manager for NSW, and with six years as the owner/operator of up to four The Coffee Club stores and previous to that with ten years at McDonald’s Australia Ltd as both an Operations Manager and the Qld/N.T. and South Pacific Regional Accounting Manager. As the Head of Franchise at Pandora, I am responsible for over 83 Pandora Concept Stores. 22 of these are Company Owned and 61 Franchised. I was responsible for growing these stores from 8 in 2009 including identifying locations, negotiating lease terms, co-coordinating with retail services, staffing and/or identifying Franchise partners. This was achieved with an extensive staff including three direct reports and a company owned store staff of over 100. I am also responsible for the strategic management of our approx. 298 multi brand retail partners.
