Branko D. Terzic has a MA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an MBA from the London School of Economics. He started his career in 1988 as an executive at AUS Consultants. He then moved on to the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin in 1981 where he was a commissioner for eight years. Terzic also worked at Deloitte LLP from 1999 to 2014 and then moved to Council on Competitiveness as a Distinguished Fellow in 2018. In 2018, he also started his own consultancy firm, Branko D. Terzic & Associates.

Branko D. Terzic is a teacher with over 15 years of experience. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Terzic has had previous teaching experience in the Wisconsin public schools, as well as private school systems in the United States and Canada.Terzic began his teaching career as a middle school teacher in the Milwaukee suburb of La Crosse. At La Crosse, he taught students in grades 6-8 and also served as head of the rhetoric and composition department. He then moved to the small town of Menomonee Falls, WI in the 1980s,where he taught for four years in the public school system. From 1991-1994, Terzic was a professor of business administration at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, teaching such topics as risk analysis and financial accounting.Since moving to Wisconsin, Terzic has focused his efforts on giving back to the community. He has been a board member for the Menomonee Falls schools and also served as a trustee for the school district for 13 years. Additionally, he has been a donor to numerous local charity events.
