The application used leaflet.js to to display historical events on a map and it allowed users to search, and filterable historical events by time, locations, and relation to other historical events. From March 2014 to June 2016 (2 years 4 months) Birmingham, Alabama AreaDeveloper @ Isotope11 Responsible for customer-facing website work. Specific focus on JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SVG. Maintained and extended a custom jQuery-based JavaScript application that enabled customers of a photography company to customize orders, adding frames, mattes, and inscriptions. Provided for a real-time updating preview of the order as well as maintaining pricing as features were added or removed. Worked on the frontend for various customer-facing portions of a prepaid debit card platform that we built from scratch. Involved JavaScript and HTML/CSS work. Worked on a project that involved a backend Property Insurance Rate Calculator. This had a very detailed front-end JavaScript application for geolocating a property's address, getting a rapid estimate of insurance back, and filling out a 10-page insurance application with detailed validation and conditional field display. Senior Software Developer @ CaptainU I was involved in transitioning a complex application, with a large active user base, from Coffeescript, Ember Rails, and Ember 1.8, to a modern Ember 2.x application using Ember CLI and ES2015. I worked with two other developers in completely transitioning the application in three weeks. I was responsible for developing and implementing a deploy strategy with the rewritten application. I was responsible for new feature development, ongoing improvements, and maintenance to the Ember-CLI/Ember 2.x app, the Rails API, and a public facing Rails site. This creates a highly customizable, responsive CMS. Built a Rails application for managing and tracking assets. As the assets come into inventory they are processed through a series of checks and inspections. The application also includes part ordering, acceptance, and rejection or built and rebuilt assets.
