💼 Past Experience

El Dorado County is investing in the community and is planning to create over 50 jobs in the area. The County hopes to have the opening of the community by late fall of 2020.A number of companies arerahving to Clarksville for their development spree. They include, but are not limited to, Deloitte, Ernst and Young, PepsiCo, Lockheed Martin, Apple, and Fidelity. Part of the vision was to create a startup city with the purpose of increasing job growth and innovation.The Clarksville Economic Development team is spearheaded by President Brad Rotter and Vice President, Brad Church. The team is composed of entrepreneurs, investors, and employees from a number of industries. rotter is the Chairman, President and CEO of Grayson Global Ventures and has over 25 years of experience in the venture capital and technology sectors. Harrison Parrish is the head ofENTANGlement.He is also the co-founder ofThe Water Wheel and the founder ofOasisCorp, a water purification startup. rotter is also the Chairman of trustees for inter-campus veterans' esteem college, Vets for Advancing Progress, Inc.The entire team is focused on achieveing two main goals: growing the economy and increasing access to resources.The primary goal is to attract businesses and job creators to Clarksville and create 350 jobs by 2020.The second goal is to improve access to resources, which will include getting the cityITALy on track to achieve its Water shortfall By 2025, Clarksville will have the most water in one gallon that any city in the U.S.

🎓 Education

Bradley Rotter has a B.S. in Science from the University of Chicago in 1977. He then went on to complete a Masters in Business Administration at New York University, Stern School of Business in 1980. Lastly, Rotter completed his engineering degree at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1973.Rotter has spent the majority of his working life working as an executive in businesses. Rotter has held various executive positions in companies such as HSBC Holdings, JPMorgan Chase Bank, and Teledyne Technologies. Rotter is currently the President and CEO of Teledyne Technologies. He is also a trustee of the University of Chicago and Mayor Rahm Emanuel's Super PAC. Rotter has also been a driving force in the establishment of the Chicago Technology Center.

💡 Technical & Interpersonal Skills

This project was led by Mayor Rotter, with the help of his team of innovators. With the support of a private investment firm and a team of local developers, the community vote funded the construction of the first, prototype town hall. The goal was to demonstrate to the county and the community how the town could be run, and how it could work with their needs in mind.
