I am a Software Engineer. Until recently I was working with Narrative Science. They are a data analytics company and I was working with their platform team as a Python backend developer. Previously, I was an Embedded Software Engineer with Northrop Grumman Corporation Electronic Systems Division. As a member of their Professional Development Program I was able to work as part of several different teams on different product lines. I worked in tools development where I helped to extend a library that is used internally for regression testing. I designed major updates, gave a symposium talk about the technologies I leveraged, and gave remote training to a team in California on how to integrate and use the tool-set. Then I went on to a team where I worked on real-time embedded software for a targeting pod. During this time I work as part of an interdisciplinary team and interacted with the hardware in a lab environment. I also had the opportunity to travel out to a customer to work with their team on integration testing. I have also worked as an associate software engineer at NetherRealm studios, where I was a member of their core technologies group. As a member of this amazing team I get to work on a AAA video game engine for current and next gen consoles. I recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Engineering, with a Master of Science in Computer Science. While completing my graduate degree I worked for the Electronic Visualization Laboratory as a research assistant. Areas of interest include video game development, virtual reality, novel interaction devices, computer graphics, and animation.Software Engineer @ I worked with the platform team as a back-end Python developer. From September 2014 to May 2015 (9 months) Embedded Software Engineer @ From June 2013 to September 2014 (1 year 4 months) Associate Software Engineer @ I work with the KoreTech team and assist in multiple areas of development, where ever an extra hand is needed. These areas include: engine, tools, and future tech. From June 2012 to March 2013 (10 months) Research Assistant @ Developed libraries and tools to support novel interaction devices and assist future software developers working on these new devices. Created video games and visualization tools to demonstrate the devices and highlight their features.
