Blake Stockman earned his B.A., Psychology from the University of California at Merced in 2008. During his time at UC Merced, he contributed to the Admissions Review Committee's decision-making process and was a member of the Psychology Department's Academic Requirements Committee. Stockman's graduate work focused on developing a measure of the psychological well-being of people employed in first-shift jobs. This work was carried out as a dissertation for the Master's degree in Psychology at the University of Utah.Prior to earning his Master's in Psychology from the University of Utah, Stockman completed a research project in which he sought to identify ways in which participants could gauge their psychological well-being in the context of their job. This work was completed as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Durham in the United Kingdom.While at the University of Durham, Stockman also completed a research project in which he sought to understand why job selection and turnover was marred by dissatisfaction among employees. This research project was completed as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia.Since completing his undergraduate and graduate work, Blake Stockman has served as an assistant professor at the University of Utah and as a research associate at the University of British Columbia.Work readiness:Based on Blake Stockman's past education, it can be determined that he is a work readiness expert with a well-founded understanding of how to measure psychological well-being and adjust appropriate work-related plans to meet the needs of employees.
