Bipul Sinha is a Co-Founder & CEO of Rubrik. Rubrik eliminates backup software by integrating data protection, instant recovery, offsite replication and DevOps infrastructure into a single, scale-out fabric. Bipul is a Venture Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners and his current board memberships include Nutanix, PernixData, Numerify and Peel. His past investments include Pulse (LinkedIn) and LiveProfile (RIM). Previously, Bipul worked at Blumberg Capital where he led investments in data center software infrastructure and Internet sectors. His selected investments include Nutanix and Hootsuite. Prior to venture capital, Bipul was with Banc of America Technology Investment Banking Group where he worked on M&A and equity financing transactions. Prior to banking, Bipul was Director of database and middleware products with Oracle Corporation. Bipul also held sales and engineering positions at American Megatrends and IBM. Bipul received his B.Tech. (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and holds an MBA from The Wharton School where he was a Palmer Scholar. Bipul also holds several patents in distributed computing.
