Thank you for visiting my profile - my name is Bill Machado, I'm a Retirement Plan Consultant at AEPG Wealth Strategies, a nationally recognized leader in wealth management. Those who know me best say I have a penchant for truly connecting with people… whether presenting in a boardroom or enjoying a backyard barbeque - I have the ability to relate to those on an individual basis. That is why I love what I do… I get to meet Chief Executives of major corporations to small business owners and talk about one of their most valued benefits... their 401k plans!
Given the recent changes within the retirement plan industry… I see some things that concern me – one of them being; advisors not living-up to their fiduciary responsibility. At AEPG, we are a 401k fiduciary, there’s no hidden agenda – our client’s interests always comes first.
Maybe it was my upbringing, but I treat our clients the way I would like to be treated... I grew up in Brooklyn and was once a Golden Gloves Boxer - I never showed fear in or outside of the ring and will continue to offer the same drive and determination for those who feel have been neglected by their own advisors.

Assistant Vice President, Retirement Plan Solutions @ As a Retirement Plan Consultant, Bill provides business owners independent, practical advice regarding their 401(k) plans. In his role, he conducts comprehensive analysis in order to identify any existing plan elements that could benefit from change and improve the overall health of the plan. He helps to understand the unique benefits of working with an independent investment fiduciary that provides professionally managed investment portfolios, fiduciary protection, employee education and complete fee transparency. From February 2015 to Present (11 months) Greater New York City AreaPatient Service Representative @ As a PSR, Bill assessed the needs of our patients through effective listening while demonstrating patience and empathy. He was committed to providing superior concierge-level customer service with a winning attitude all within a fast paced and ever-changing environment. Experience has taught him how to build solid relationships and lead by example. His strong desire to help and serve the patients of Summit Medical Group was recognized by senior management and he successfully achieved the most patient recognition than any other PSR within the department. From March 2012 to February 2015 (3 years) Account Executive @ As an AE, Bill was directly responsible for driving revenue across specific alliances, key clients and potential customers. He played a critical role in promoting awareness of MofA's financial services platform and carried out the entire sales process - from account identification, to close, to ongoing client relationship. He was directly in charge of driving untapped revenue opportunities within the law firm community and communicating the desired brand, image and positioning to a variety of constituencies - including Suite C-Level Exec's, Trustee's, HR Directors and RIA's. From March 2006 to June 2007 (1 year 4 months) Small Business Services District Manager @ As a Small Business District Manager, Bill quarterbacked the entire sales process, from initiating proposals, to negotiating contracts and closing deals. He developed mutually beneficial relationships with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley FA's, and worked closely with cross-functional teams in order to hit and exceed quarterly sales quotas. From July 2004 to December 2005 (1 year 6 months) Retirement Plan Sales Specialist @ Bill engaged and supported the sales and marketing initiatives to large geographic regions - including NY and CA. He was a key member of a highly motivated team which directly achieved and exceeded specific minimal thresholds for activity, pipeline development and sales goals. From December 2002 to July 2004 (1 year 8 months) Trust & Client Relationship Officer @ As a Client Relationship Officer, Bill consistently delivered personalized "high-touch" consultative services to meet the financial needs of our clients.
