💼 Past Experience

During her time at CBS News, Golodryga regularly lead the company’s coverage of all major financial and news stories as well as global anchor Katie Couric. Golodryga worked for CBS News from 2007 to August 2014, contributing to news broadcasts on shows including “Good Morning America” and “Nightline.” After joining CBS News in 2007, Golodryga reported extensively on the economy and business beats, as well as digital media and social networking coverage during the 2008 Presidential election. Golodryga also led coverage of the Maryland racetrack massacre which took place in April of 2017.

Bianna Golodryga has a B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin in Russian, Central European, East European and Eurasian Studies/Economics. She has also been a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Texas at Austin from 2000 to 2004. Bianna Golodryga has been a Research Fellow at the funded Cambridge Center for Classical and Medieval Studies at Cambridge University from 2004 to 2006. She has been a Research Fellow at the funded National Research Foundation of Korea since 2006.Bianna Golodryga's research focuses on medieval Russian and East European religious literature. her current research focuses on two texts: "The Hours of Ivan the Terrible" and "The Tragedy of Ivan the Terrible." She is also working on a project on the Russian church of the 15th century, and on the history of the Russian post-revolutionary period.
