* Applied and got into start-up accelerator Betaspring in Providence, RI.
* Raised $70k from Betaspring and the Providence Economic Development Partnership.

* Designed a simple and elegant online bakery storefront, macaronsbyjane.com, using HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
* Used PHP and MySQL for the backend to handle and store customer orders.
* Search engine optimized (SEO) the keywords “macarons austin” to #3 and “macarons delivery” to #2 in Google resulting in customers within the first week of launch. From March 2011 to June 2012 (1 year 4 months) Part Owner @ CTTY owned and operated a Dickey's BBQ Pit in Cedar Park, TX. From July 2010 to September 2011 (1 year 3 months) Online Professional Poker Player @ The story began when one of my friends offered to pay my dinner back on Pokerstars. I quickly ran that $12 up to $140 and lost it all in one tilt session at 100 no limit Texas hold'em (NLHE). I then decided to take the Chris Ferguson $10k Challenge, turning 0$ into $10k through free-rolling.
* Started free-rolling for $1 on Pokerstars.
* Took that $1 to playing sit 'n go tournaments (SNGs).
* Grinded SNGs until 50 NLHE 6max.
* Played 50NL 6max until 200 NLHE 6max.
* Switched to playing heads-up (HU) poker, sprinkled in some MTTs, Rush, Cap and a World Series Of Poker event in 2010.

Bought a Dickey's BBQ Pit in Cedar Park, TX with some friends and the money after I graduated from UT Austin spring of 2010. From September 2007 to December 2010 (3 years 4 months) Research Assistant @ Tested maximum electricity generation using Microbial Fuel Cells (MFC) by varying the substrate, the surface area of contact, size of MFC, and different concentrations of bacteria.
Presented results at Taiwan Tech Trek conference 2009 and won 2nd place under the engineering category. From June 2009 to August 2009 (3 months) Undergraduate Research Assistant @ Synthesized new polymer blends using Melamine Formaldehyde, Low Density Polyethylene, Boehmite Nanoparticles and Siling Coupling Agents.
Tested properties of blend compositions through scratch testing, friction and wear tests, thermogravimetric analyzer, and differential scanning calorimeter.
Presented results at the American Physical Society at the Univ. of Texas, Arlington. From September 2005 to July 2007 (1 year 11 months)
