💼 Past Experience

From 2017-present, Benjamin Durham has been the Chief Immersive Officer of Ploto, Inc. Described as the company’s “catalyst for Start-Up Nation”, Raphael Diaz and himself spearheaded Ploto’s rebirth in 2017. Prior to this, Benjamin was the Vice President of Product at Playful Conclusions where he led the product strategy and development for the company’s flagship title, Match3. During his time at Playful Conclusions, Benjamin helped to significantly grow the company’s user base, pending allocations of $100M from venture capitalists and Time Warner. In his previous job, Benjamin was responsible for oversight of the entire design and development process for one of the world’s most innovative new digital games, “ MineCraft: X”. In his prior role as the CTO at Mojang AB, Benjamin helped to design, develop and operate Minecraft: X, one of the mostplayed games in the world – with over 4 million concurrent monthly active users.Benjamin Durham has a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. After graduating in 2016, he worked as a research assistant at Google DeepMind. His research focused on reinforcement learning and neural networks. As a result of his work at Google, he was able to develop several patent applications related to deep learning, reinforcement learning and neural networks. His current field of research focuses on developing voxel based self-assemblingINCORPORATED terrains.
