When starting out in his career, Ben Owen was looking for a new challenge and decided to move to the United States. He spent five years working at Double Negative in LA, where he was responsible for programming, graphics and visual effects as well as acted as a recruiter. Owen left Double Negative to move to Framestore, where he was responsible for recruiting and managing the staff at their graphics and visual effects division. He then moved to BBC in London, where he was responsible for managing the contact centre and working on projects such as The Hobbit and Sherlock. Finally, in October 2013, Ben Owen moved to MPC in New York City, where he was responsible for the global head of recruitment. In his role, Ben Owen is responsible for recruiting new staff and managing the career development of existing staff. He has adeep understanding of the industry and is able to manage difficult challenges.
