I'm a technology leader specialising in agile delivery in fast-growth companies. I'm a veteran of 3 startups and explosive growth at Wonga. I joined Wonga as employee 30, helped scale the business to 800 people in 4 years, lending >£1bn/year and trading in 9 countries.
I care deeply about building great teams and nurturing people. I lead agile tech teams building great products.
I'm an engineer working with modern tools: JavaScript (Node.js, AngularJS), Python, Scala, Erlang, Java, HTML5, Git, Unix, AWS, Docker and more (see below for the full kitchen sink list).
I strongly believe agile is the best way to deliver software. The market is moving fast, you should too. I've rolled out XP, Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, pairing and continuous delivery to large teams at Wonga. I'm a black belt in JIRA.
I'm passionate about creating great products, design & UX. I've managed requirements & prioritisation, created hypotheses & experiments, done Customer Development, all in a regulated environment.
I've mentored entrepreneurs at Seedcamp & Launch48.
I'm a first-class communicator. I'm proactive, a problem-solver, an analytical thinker, above all, team player.
