Over ten of these years have been within a project and product management capacity for companies such as Groupon, Paddy Power, Yahoo! and Microsoft. My work has spanned a diverse array of projects from games, software and online properties to advertising, mobile and print based media. Academically, I hold a B.Sc. First Class Honours Degree in Business and Information Technology from Trinity College Dublin.Product Development Project Manager @ The role involves managing all aspects of the delivery of multi-disciplinary and cross-functional projects within the Product Development Department of Paddy Power PLC with specialist focus in online mobile and system migration projects. The main duties include: · Project management of online development initiatives. · Working with Third Party vendors and Business Stakeholders to determine scope of work for projects and establish project plans. · Managing the project plan delivery by ensuring the milestones are adhered to. · Ensuring that all issues are addressed in terms of resolution. · Keeping all stakeholders up to date at regular intervals throughout the project lifecycle. · Ensuring that go-live for projects is effected, taking into consideration factors such as data migration, reporting services, end-user training etc. · Working with the IT department to ensure adequate infrastructure and support is available for project delivery. · Managing third party vendors in liaison with our legal, technology and business teams, ensuring that all contractual and SLA obligations are adhered to. From November 2011 to August 2013 (1 year 10 months) Product Manager @ As Product Manager, I was tasked with modernising and re-defining a newly acquired and well respected online product from concept through to re-launch. My passion for gaming and online media, along with superior project management skills and expertise in social media, significantly contributed towards the successful realisation of this online property as a Yahoo!7 product. The main duties included: · Managing hardware, data & user migration of newly acquired online & mobile property. · Defining use cases and scope for site migration & redesign. · Writing detailed product specifications to clearly define site requirements. · Leading design and development of online product for re-launch and ongoing evolution. · Collaborating on the marketing plan, including consumer proposition for social media. · Collaborating with engineering teams, ensuring product features are developed in a timely and responsive manner. · Delivering on project ROI measurements. · Securing product sponsors. · Working with Yahoo!7 partners as to future opportunities for product integration. From July 2010 to July 2011 (1 year 1 month) Sydney, AustraliaDigital Producer @ Hired on a contract basis to project manage a major website development and manage several client accounts' campaign work during challenging holiday transition period. Clients included: E-Trade, IAG, Qantas, Samsung, Westfield and Woolworths. From May 2010 to June 2010 (2 months) International Project Manager @ Project Manager for online, print and software based integrated global marketing campaigns. All projects involved the successful facilitation, localisation and deployment of several marketing campaigns simultaneously for Microsoft’s European, Asian and Australian markets. Here, I was a strong advocate of business process improvement, always seeking to improve on existing processes and systems as well as searching to innovate for new ones. Project Sponsors included: Microsoft Game Studios, Worldwide Retail Services, Mobile Communications Business and Windows Business Group.
