I am currently President/Owner at SBH Fashion, a clothing company. I have been working in the industry for more than 10 years, including 5 years as a human resources professional. I have worked in a wide variety of settings, both large and small, and I have had the opportunity to work with many different employers. Barbara Meyer's education beganuttling around her while she pursued a career in marketing. After a year of undergraduate study at the University of California, Berkeley, she served as an advertising stylist before finally settling into a job as a sales representative for a local marketing firm. Meyer found her workaholic tendencies taking over and decided to pursue a graduate degree in business administration. After she completed her degree, Meyer briefly worked in a small business before transferring to the big leagues as a marketing executive.Most recently, Meyer has served as the president and CEO of a large Silicon Valley consulting firm. Her work has included developing marketing strategies and strategies for new markets, as well as overseeing the overall business operations of her company. In her role, Meyer is highly experienced in running a large, complex business.Despite her many years of experience and successful businesses, Meyer is still learning and growing. She is currently completing a master's degree in marketing from the University of British Columbia in business administration. Upon its completion, she plan to focus on the development of her own marketing practices and research. In the meantime, she is actively pursuing additional education, most notably a law degree, to further her career goals.Beyond her work as a successful marketing executive and businesswoman, Barbara Meyer is also an experienced teacher. She has served as the associate commissioner for Battered Women's Services, a position that provides leadership and resources to women experiencing violence. In this role, Meyer champions the education and empowerment of female survivors of violence. She has also created a course on marketing and business practices for women in the workplace.Meyer is highly committed to her work and is currently working hard to learn as much as possible about how to run a successful business. She is confident in her abilities and is grateful for the opportunity to pursue her career goals.
