Barbara Hollkamp is a veterinarian and educational administrator with an S.B. from Rollins College, where she received an Organizational Behavior degree in 1990. Hollkamp then worked as an assistant professor at Morehead State University from 1970 to 1973 before moving to Rollins College as an associate professor in 1990. There, she Sie received an S.B. in Veterinary Medicine from the college. Hollkamp is currently an assistant professor at Rollins College and hasheld the position since 1990. Hollkamp's appointment at Rollins College is a result of her many years of experience as an administrator in the educational field. Her previous positions include, but are not limited to, faculty existence (associate professor, 1990-present; professor, 1970-1990; and staff, 1984-1990). Hollkamp has experience working with a variety of students, teaching in a variety of courses, and managing classrooms. She has also been a recipient of several awards, including the Springfield, MO, Educational Award from the American Veterinary Medical Association in 1995 and two teaching fellowships from the American Association of Colleges of Veterinary Medicine. Overall, Hollkamp has a deep understanding of the educational process and is able to provide insight into how best to serve students. Her extensive education and work readiness background will allow her to effectively manage and care for students in the veterinary professional field.
