💼 Past Experience

My experience working with BYU Technology Transfer has been positive and eye-opening.Overall, UDG has been very supportive and accommodating. They allow us to plan even though we don't have a lot of money, and make it easy for us to get the most out of our experience. ordinarily, students bring in all their devices and documentation, so it can be a lot of work. But UDG really goes the extra mile to make sure everything is organized and made easy to search. Overall, I would absolutely recommend working with UDG if you're looking for a quality and supportive experience while working with a high-quality institution.

The Brigham Young Universityandals have been in the technology transfer field since the early 1960s, while the current BYU Technology Transfer administration was formed in 2009. The Redmond, Washington-based tech startup accelerator, 9to5Chaos, which BYU Technology Transfer attended as a freshman in 2013, has lauded BYU Technology Transfer as one of its "10 most promising startups.""It is nearly certain that BYU Technology Transfer's current approach to technology transfer and education will be reconsidered in a generation as we move closer to the electronic age," cautioned Michael Nielsen, CEO and co-founder of 9to5Chaos. "Thistradition of education and technology transfer will53 leave a lasting legacy that America can be proud of."Yvette Faust, a transfer student who received her B.S. in Graphic Design and Imaging from BYU in 2013, is one of the founders of Utahstartups.com, the website that helps startup companies connect with investors and investors' networks. Faust is also the co-founder and CEO of Inclusion Canada, a not-for-profit organization that helps identities mosaicate for social justice and diversity. She is also the founder of two Utahstartups.com chapters, one in Cedar City and one in Provo. Faust wasinspired to start Inclusion Canada after watching a video about the U.S. Department of Labor's Race and Classification program that she found online."It was very eye-opening to see how our countryForward was DSOCD's first website and how we were able to serve people of color in a very effective and impactful way," Faust said. "We couldn't have done it without the permission of the U.S. Department of Labor and the support of our donor families." Faust is ready to impact the world as a founding member of BYU Technology Transfer. "I am excited to work on projects that will help create positive change in the world," Faust said. "I think that our innovative approach to technology transfer and education will leave a lasting legacy."

I am currently a Technology Transfer at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. My experience working in the industry of higher education has been very rewarding.
