She then moved on to study world culture and history at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, where she graduated with a M.A. in Mediterranean Studies in 2016.Ayse Birsel's work experience:Since moving to Turkey in 2016, AyseBirsel has worked as an academic administrator and tutor at the University of Ankara's Faculty of Fine Arts. She has also worked as a cultural critic and contributor to some of the country's leading newspapers.

I then worked as a freelance graphic designer before I started my own business, Birsel + Seck, in 2006. I’ve worked in the industry of design for over 10 years and I continue to learn and grow as a designer. I’ve also Written and Edited my own book, Designing True Believers, as well as created and taught a course on Graphic Design at SVA.I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most famous brands, including Nike, Apple, Pinterest, Sony PlayStation, and Starbucks. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with clients in a variety of industries, including food, fashion, baby products, and medical equipment.I’m excited to be able to work with IDsSA and help create the future of industrial design. I believe that industrial design is a powerful tool for creating quality products and I’m passionate about helping to bring this tool to everyone, everywhere.Design the Life You LoveWhat’s your favorite thing about working in the industry of design?I just love the feeling of making a difference and helping others have a better life. I feel like I have a special connection to industrial design and I’m honored to have the opportunity to work with such renown brands and clients. I would also say that working with clients is an absolute joy - it’s so much fun to see their businesses grow and succeed. I always have a great time when I’m working with my clients and they always appreciate the work I do.What would you say is the most rewarding aspect of your work?The most rewarding aspect of my work is the sense of satisfaction I receive when I make a positive difference in someone’s life. I always feel like my work is worth the challenge and I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow in this amazing industry.
