I've been given the opportunity to focus my fascination with product design and development toward building custom web and mobile apps powered by the Box Platform. I'm grateful to work with a team I hugely admire to provide a deeply customized experience to companies as they consider developing with Box. My down time is committed to traveling, transitioning from marketing guy -> software developer, and sharing my experience at austinringer.com. If I can help you in any way, just ask.
Demo Engineer @ From May 2015 to Present (8 months) San Francisco Bay AreaJunior Software Developer @ After SharpSpring's acquisition and my graduation from college I asked to move into a role where I could learn to code. I wasn't starting from zero knowledge but it's safe to say that I was grossly underqualified for the job. The total immersion learning environment paid off and I took on my first "real" project as a software developer, managing SharpSpring's platform localization into 9 languages. From December 2014 to May 2015 (6 months) Growth Marketing @ It's tough to put a fomal title on my position at SharpSpring as I cycled through a number of very different projects. Over the course of two years my role flowed from first intern -> help build a sales team -> communicate product to customers -> demand generation. Our (very) small team built $1.1M in pipeline revenue in 4 months and a whole lot more after that. SharpSpring went from zero sales to company acquisition in 11 months and I took full advantage of every learning opportunity that presented itself. From October 2013 to January 2015 (1 year 4 months) Summer Talent Solutions Analyst @ The beginning of my love for San Francisco. I started the summer knowing only of one person in tech and left having shadowed some of the brightest minds in the industry. My time at LinkedIn was the result of dozens of "internship?" cold emails and calls. To this day, I'm grateful this worked out. From May 2013 to August 2013 (4 months)
