Attilio Pigneri is currently the CEO of H2U - the Hydrogen Utility™Industry of Renewables & Environment. He has appointed to this position in August 2009 and has held the role since.Prior to his appointment at H2U, Pigneri was the Director of Intelligence and Research at China’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). From 2003 to 2009, he was a Senior Research Scientist at NREL, responsible for the development of technology and products for the hydrogen industry.Before arriving at NREL, Pigneri was a Research Scientist at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He joined CAS in 1995 and held a variety of Scientist and Director positions at CAS.Pigneri has authored and published dozens of papers and proceeding in international conferences on a variety of Hydrogen topics. He is also a regular contributor to leading online journals in Hydrogen Science and Technology and the Hydrogen Think Tank.Attilio Pigneri is an experienced executive and scientist who has a deep understanding of renewable energy and the environment. He isnominated for the prestigious Global Leadership Award from the Royal Society, which recognises excellence in sustainable energy.

Attilio Pigneri currently holds a B.S. in Psychology from University of California, Davis. He has also earned a J.D. from the University of California, Davis. While at University of California, Davis, Pigneri studied personal strengths, communication and conflict resolution. This led him to his current work readinessbased on his skills and experience.Work readiness focuses on evaluating an individual's strengths and weaknesses so that they are able to work effectively in both personal and professional areas. After that, he worked as a mediator and arbitrator. Pigneri's next move into the professional world was as an attorney. He helped Advanced electronic Data Solutions win a large case. In this case, he also worked on the trial management team. Pigneri has since retired from this legal career, but he continues to work in the field of personal growth and development.Pigneri is currently working as the city's new Manager of Planning and Development. His role at the city includes overseeing the planning and development process for the city. This includes developing policies and regulations for the city. Additionally, he is also responsible for providing guidance to the City Council on matters related to planning and development.Attilio Pigneri has a wealth of experience in personal and professional areas.
