This program coordinated the quality improvement activities of four manufacturing facilities -The direct responsibility to facilitate the certification of manufacturing processes to ship product directly to the KOYO Bearings plant in Japan. This required, on several occasions, the presentation of the quality improvement techniques used in this successful certification process to quality management personnel in Osaka, Japan. -Responsibility to facilitate the certification of manufacturing processes to strict automotive industrial standards and certifications including, ISO9001, QS9000 and TS16949. -Gained certification as Level (3) “Toyota Production System” Lean Master. This program required a personal cost saving project to exceed $100,000.00 for 2006 plus the successful completion of the Level 3 Lean Manufacturing Program. My cost saving project saved over $300,000.00 in raw material in 2006 cutting material waste in half. -Responsible for maintaining metallurgical lab, conducting failure analysis investigations, certifying heat-treat systems and conducting new furnace qualifications. -Expert in problem solving techniques utilizing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, 8-D Root Cause Analysis, and the Big Matrix Approach,(you put your problems on a big matrix and work on it till you solve'em all and then you draw another one, hopefully the next one won't be as big. -Expert scrap analyst, history of proven leadership in the reduction of waste.Procurement Supplier Development Specialist @ Buyer of Steel, Balls & Rollers, and other commodities for automotive industry.
