He worked his way up through the ranks and served as a Intelligence Collection Manager / Analyst from July 2003 to August 2005, before becoming Director, Personal Leadership & Success Coach at Center for Personal Leadership and Development in September of that year.Davis then moved on to be a Maritime Investigator at the United States Coast Guard from December 2002 to July 2003. There, he was responsible for collection and assessment of piracy and underworld criminality data, as well as developing and implementing contacts between local law enforcement and the Coast Guard.In March of2011, Davis was named the leader of the Intelligence Department at Coast Guard Headquarters. He then took on the role of Chief of Intelligence / Investigator at the Coast Guard and served in that position until November of that year. This was followed by a six-year stint as the Student - Fire Control Technician School at the Coast Guard, where he was responsible for training and educating the Coast Guard's fire control technicians.In October of2014, Davis was elected CEO of Homeland Security Group, a business conglomerate that provides homeland security solutions. He held this position for a six-year period, during which time he developed and led a team of employees who increased profits and presided over a number of successful implementations of homeland security programs.

Davis then started at the Coast Guard Academy in January 2001 as a Clinicalhypnotherapist and worked there until January 2001.
