From October 2011 to December 2014 (3 years 3 months) San Francisco Bay AreaExperience Designer @ Designed common workflows and patterns across Adobe Services, a growing suite of web-based collaboration apps for small business, including cross-app navigation, preferences, account creation, single sign-on, and upsell marketing.
Guided the product direction for two brand new Acrobat Services apps, consisting of an online form builder and a file sharing service. Conducted research that identified user needs and usability improvements. Designed and implemented teaser websites for each new app to generate excitement around the impending launch.
Collaborated with the community relations team on version two of the Acrobat.com Blog. Created a new, more polished, layout informed by content hierarchy and built the custom Wordpress theme. From February 2010 to October 2011 (1 year 9 months) Greater Boston AreaVisual Design Intern @ Explored ways to increase productivity and improve the experience for teams who use the Acrobat Services to collaborate over the web. Initiated a variety of projects, delivering designs ranging from rapid prototypes that tested out interaction concepts to polished visual assets and specifications meant for production.
Conducted a usability evaluation of the newly launched spreadsheet app to identify product shortcomings. Collaborated with the lead visual designer to conceptualize and build a video-based onboarding experience for the new app. Self-directed the design from start to finish on a desktop notification app that surfaces real-time alerts as a document is being modified. Managed daily administrative duties including correspondence and scheduling of meetings. Acted as liaison between the school and its current students, prospective students, and their parents. Audited content organization and interviewed legal team members and their clients to understand workflows and needs.
