Messaging System • Worked on the initial implementation of a messaging system that would send out emails to the user of the main Mindjolt application when certain events would happen. • The implementation involved using RabbitMQ as a message queue and Google Protocol Buffers as a data interchange format. • The messaging system handled hundreds of thousands of events everyday. • Used StrongMail API to send out the emails. MindJolt Facebook Application • Implemented a new Tabbed Footer on the main application. • Worked on various viral features that helped in more user engagement.
