She has been working as an artist in the acrylic and gouache mediums for the past few years.Angela has stated that she finds the medium to be “eager to create things that don’t quite exist.” Angela is interested in exploring new narrative possibilities and ways to tell stories through art.Angela is a self-taught artist and has no prior professional training in art. However, she has a passion for the medium and has found success in Developing her skills in the acrylic and gouache mediums.Angela Ng-Hawkins's work readiness for the future:Angela Ng-Hawkins holds an AA degree in art from the University of Nottingham. Prior to this, she studied at Brunel University in London. She is also interested in exploring the topic of colonialism within her work.In her ongoing exploration of time and time travel, Angela is also working on a new painting in which she is using time as a painting medium.Angela Ng-Hawkins is currently in the process of finalising her project which is examining the idea of exodus and the displacement of people.
