Andrew Mager is a communications specialist with over 10 years of experience in the field. With a BA in Communication from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, he knew he had a passion for the field. After studying it for a few years, he knew he wanted to be a journalist. He worked his way up through the ranks at several local papers, eventually becoming the editor of his local paper. While at his job, he also honed his skills as a reporter, filing stories with a realistic eye and never afraid to experiment.He then moved on to a larger opportunity, becoming the managing editor of a major metropolitan paper. Here, he was able to develop his writing and storytelling skills, as well as grow his team and cover a greater variety of stories.
