I'm well-acquainted with Ruby, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL (sqlite3 and PostgreSQL), Sinatra and Rails frameworks, ActiveRecord ORM, jQuery, RSpec, AJAX implementation, and have experience in working with external APIs through OAuth and OAuth2, namely Twitter and Facebook's Open Graph. Previously, I have around two years of experience in Editorial workflow working for Groupon in the Site Admin department and am currently in Chicago. During my tenure at Groupon the company has grown from 2,500 employees to over 12,000 worldwide. I have been involved in numerous beta tests, training, and workflow assistance for transitions in the deal creation process as the company continues to expand, all while maintaining a high productivity and low error rate, completing on average 400 to 500 deals per month.
Outside of Groupon, I've been involved in theatrical productions and arts education, directing and assistant directing plays, teaching in area high schools, and acting in numerous Non-Equity productions across Chicago. - Construction of new implementation of Product Search Catalog UI, utilizing Angular, Kendo, and additional UI tools/ libraries such as Bootstrap, Sass, Compass, Masonry, Grunt, and Jasmine testing.
- UI work for launch and beta of Where To Buy program. Built variety of charts for analytic reporting via Kendo.
