🎓 Education

Andrew Dong's education has focused on social communication and media management. Dong has a B.S. in Social Communication and Media Management from Tsinghua University. He then pursued an M.A. in Journalism from the University at Albany, SUNY. After completing his education, Dong worked as a media coordinator for a small business in China. He then decided to move back to the United States. Dong has since moved to western Massachusetts and started working as an officer for the town of Lexington, MA. He is currently an officer with the Lexington town office.

Celential.ai is a platinum member of the GSMA Silver Level and has been awarded Best in Show at the All-star CES peace of mind awards in 2016 and £500,000 in prize money at the recognition dinner of the RSA American SIGGRAPH conference.Before Celential.ai, Dong was Head of Research at Bright.com, a startup that was acquired by AOL in 2006. At Bright.com, Dong led research and development for the company’s first product, AOL Instant Messenger, which was released to the public in April 2003. In this role, Dong was responsible for developing the product’s design, technology, user experience, and networking.Dong holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Princeton University and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
