Andrew Ball has a BSc (Hons) with a diploma in Industrial Studies from Glasgow University in 1992. He then went on to study Cell Biology and Pharmacology from the University of Ulster from 1996 to 2000, during which time he also completed Pancreatic Beta Cell Research from Uppsala universitet / Uppsala University from 1994 to 1995. ThisResearch involved examining the role of beta cells in the Pancreas and studying their structure, function and development. Ball later went on to work as a Research Associate at the University of Oxford from 2000 to 2002, during which time he also undertook a Advanced Research Fellowship at Cardiff University in Wales. As a Research Associate at the University of Oxford, Ball worked on a variety ofResearch projects, including studies of the role of inflammation in Pancreatic Disease and the role of enzymes in the Pancreas. He is currently a Research Associate at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. Ball's Past research experience has contributed to his current Working quartet at the University of Tsukuba in Japan. This quartet isfocused onResearch projects focussed on understanding the role of the Circadian clock in Pancreatic Disease and the role of enzymes in the Pancreas. Ball's current work includes studies of the role of the Circadian clock in Pancreatic Disease and the role of enzymes in the Pancreas. He has also collaboratively worked on a number of different research projects in this area, which have helped to advance Pancreatic Disease research.
