It is a work that has helped many developers learn the basics of C++.Andrea Pollini is currently a professor at University of Central California (UCSC), where she teaches the introductory C++ course and the advanced C++ course. She is also a member of the C++ Steering Committee and the C++ Working Group.

Andrea Pollini's education has ensured that she is equipped to take on any challenge life throws her way. Whilst studying at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Pollini completed the Tirocinio formativo, in which she studied informatics. Since then, she has worked in various areas of information technology, including at a university. Whilst at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Pollini obtained a Laurea Magistrale in LMMatematica, which gave her the ability to work with complex machines.
