Some of the key methods I have used to achieve these milestones include – • Creation of governance documentation to support proposed solution and way forward. • Use of Requirements and Process workshops with both the business and IT to derive adequate solutions. • Adoption of AGILE and SCRUM methodologies • Communication packs addressing all levels of Tesco.com to achieve buy in. From June 2009 to October 2010 (1 year 5 months) Senior Business Analyst and Business Benefits Lead @ Senior Business Analyst Working with the Largest Business and IT Project delivered within Harvey Norman, “Project Reload”. I have been able to influence key areas such as ensuring HN is maximising Business Benefits, and drastically improving customer service. Decreasing costs, through process improvement, implementation of Virtualisation technologies, Shared storage and the supporting financial processes, policies and models to ensure a true shared cost of IT is presented to the business. • Tender and Contract negotiations for external vendors to deliver, infrastructure, consulting and new enterprise systems to support growth thus offering better services to business teams. • Implementation of organisational Change Management initiatives to ensure that IT initiatives are better embraced through the business. From September 2006 to September 2008 (2 years 1 month) Business Analyst @ Touchstar is an International Company with offices in 3 countries and customers in many more. The companies’ main role is to produce Handheld and server software for a wide array of industries and corporate companies. The tasks attributed to this role were to study business processes, refine, streamline and develop best practises. These processes were then developed for the field users, via software, hardware and communication procedures. I was also responsible for developing customer benefits/costs briefs for clients such as British Petroleum, George Weston Foods, Goodman Fielder, Caltex and Amalgamated Pest Control. Some of the key projects completed here include: • A Trade Delivery service application suited to the Baking Industry. • Service based application for inspections in the Building Industry. • In Store Merchandising solution for Field Forces. • Fuel Delivery and Processing systems.
