(1) Chairman's $50M Innovation Fund - Spearheaded effort that led to creation of a $50M fund whose goal was to to invest in disruptive opportunities that would extend and enhance AmEx's products, services and brand.
(2) American Express' Investment Optimization which managed the company's discretionary investment spend ($4-5B per annum). The company's portfolio management efforts have received numerous awards and recognition from the likes of the CFO Executive Board, Baseline Magazine, Gartner, and CFO Magazine amongst other.
(3) CFO's Strategic Planning and business analysis group - An internal strategy consulting group working on projects for the company's CFO From November 2000 to December 2007 (7 years 2 months) Strategic Planning and Growth @ At Kozmo.com, I was part of a team of four selected to launch Kozmo Europe based in London. This required raising venture capital, negotiating business development deals with potential distribution/retail partners and managing the operations of this start-up venture in London.
Kozmo.com was an internet delivery & logistics company. It remains one of the most well-funded and infamous startups in NYC history. From 1999 to 2000 (1 year) Strategy/Operations Consultant @ Worked with multinational company with locations in India, China and the USA to streamline operations, develop corporate strategy, understand and penetrate adjacent product markets and develop new geographic markets for company's existing products. From June 1997 to October 1999 (2 years 5 months)
