Specialist knowledge in Building Services Engineering includes working experience using Hevacomp, IES Virtual Environment and EDSL TAS Building Designer dynamic simulation software programs. These tools have been used to evaluate the environmental performance of proposed building designs and calculate building regulation compliance. The mentioned software programs have also been used to provide design advice to the project team on options that would make the design more energy efficient hence, encouraging passive design measures rather than potentially costly active systems.

HMP Shotts, Phase 1 (July 2008-January 2011)- Mechanical Designer for the multi million pound development project of the prison complex which included a new Facilities Building, Gates/ Visiting Complex and House Block.
HMYOI Polmont, Young Offenders Institute Phases 3&5, Polmont (June 2006- January 2009)-Multi million pound development project of the prison complex which included a new Sports Centre, Gates/ Visiting Complex and House Block.

Network Rail Modular Station Designs, London (January 2008-April 2009)- Involved in the design and coordination of two modular station building designs for Network Rail. From June 2006 to April 2013 (6 years 11 months) Graduate Mechanical Services Engineer @ After the 4th year of my degree program I completed a year out in industry at Parker Wilson's Manchester office. During this 15 month period I played a paramount role in a variety of small, medium and large construction projects located throughout England. This included building services designs for new builds and refurbishments, energy feasibility reports and building appraisal studies. Health care, educational, commercial and domestic buildings are all project types I had been actively involved with during this tenure.
