Responsible for defining and implementing HR processes and policy including a Talent Management System - employee relations, recruiting, training and development, performance management, and succession planning. Also responsible for labor relations including grievance handling, arbitration, and contract negotiations. Continually pulse, coach, and counsel individuals at all levels of the organization globally to improve alignment to the business strategy. Key projects included improving sales force effectiveness, supply chain optimization, workplace fairness and the annual United Way campaign. From June 2010 to October 2017 (7 years 5 months) Human Resources Manager @ Dana Corporation Responsible for Human Resources Generalist function in a 240 person UAW Assembly facility that assembled light duty driveshafts. Worked closely with front line supervisors to ensure compliance to company policies and procedures. Work with management team and staff to identify training needs and establish a training plan to ensure cross training throughout the facility. Responsible for labor relations, answering employee grievances, upholding the collective bargaining agreement, and ensuring consistency across the facility. Health and Safety Manager for facility, which included managing Worker's Compensation and MIOSHA Compliance. Responsible for recruiting both hourly level and professional level employees. From January 2005 to April 2007 (2 years 4 months) HR Business Partner @ Dana Corporation Partner with CIO and Information Technology leadership to provide strategic HR support for an organization of approximately 400 IT employees globally. Currently focused on the reorganization of the IT function to better align with the mission, core competencies, and strategic goals. This activity requires partnering with regional HR leaders to coordinate global activities.Office is based in the US IT Data Center, providing day to day HR support for approximately 200 IT employees in the US.
