In a previous position at GIR (Global Investment Research), Amanda Hindlian was the President of the Global Markets Institute which is a think tank led by Goldman Sachs. The Global Markets Institute is responsible for developing and advocating for rational practices in global investments. Hindlian left GIR in June 2020 to join the firm of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. as a Managing Director in the Office of the Chairman, Executive Office. Hindlian is responsible for Client Strategy Group where she leads a team of traders and analysts who work on financial and economic strategies for clients in a number of industries.
