Amanda Gonzalez has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. She loved studying Spanish and got great grades in it, which made her want to find a way to help animals in my spare time. After taking some coursework in civil rights and community organizing, Amanda decided to pursue a career in outreach work.While doing some online research, Amanda discovered an organization called Paws for the Homeless, who offered her work offer. Amanda has worked for Paws for the Homeless for the past two years, and it has been an amazing experience. She has had the opportunity to help many dogs who are living in extreme poverty, and she has truly fallen in love with the job.I absolutely love working with the dogs, and I have learned so much about dog behavior and animal rights during my time with Paws. I have also been able to get to know a lot of people who need my help, and I have made many friends along the way. I would definitely recommend a career in outreach work to anyone who is interested in helping animals, because it is an amazing way to help people and make a difference.
