1. What led you to start your own business?I got interested in starting my own business after I completed a business training course at the FreedomPreneur Business Academy in Jan 2012. From that point on, I started to work on creating a Freedom Practice at Oompf Global. I am now a Owner Trainer Coach at Oompf Global.2. What are some of the challenges you faced when starting your business and how did you overcome them?There were a few challenges that I faced while starting my business. One of the biggest challenges was getting my time back. However, I was able to overcome that by systemising my practice and by attracting better clients. I also faced challenges when trying to find sustainable business opportunities. However, I was able to draw upon my experience as a copywriter to create successful marketing campaigns. Finally, I also faced challenges when trying to fundraise money for my business. However, I was able to overcome that by initiating donor drives and by advertising my business on social media.3. What were some of the benefits of starting your own business and how did you use them to your advantage?The benefits of starting my own business have been, for the most part, plethora. I have been able to get my time back, attract better clients, systemise my practice, and scale my business. I have also been able to use my experience as a business mentor and business coach to help my clients realise their business potential and achieve their goals. I have also been able to fundraise money for my business through initiatives such as donor drives and advertising. Overall, I have been very successful in starting my own business and have been able to use it to my advantage.
