All of these brands include an online presence (directly contributing for 22% of the groups’ annual turnover). This included e-commerce sites, mobile devices applications, and functionally rich web-based sites and systems totalling 14 disparate B2C & B2B websites, all of which, I was fully responsible for. My role within the business was both complex and highly demanding, leading 2 highly specialised internal development teams with cross-platform skill sets for all online requirements within the business. I also ran a separate off-shore development team. During my time in the business, I turned around the development effort by decreasing time to market for new functionality through better working practices for upstream functionality by 35%.
