In my 4 years as an Interactive Producer, I have developed skills in cross-discipline team coordination, client communication, and budget and schedule management, and have successfully led a wide range of interactive projects. I have worked with many vendors and overseas dev teams, so I am comfortable working with remote team members and know how to manage the associated challenges. I believe in the importance of prioritizing, open communication, and keeping project goals in sight for the success of a project and happiness of the team and the client.
Life has now presented me with new opportunities, and I am pursuing a pivot in my career to freelance web development. I believe my experience as a producer will make me a stronger team member and inform my understanding of projects, even as I put on the new hat of a developer. I am excited to work on making ideas come to life and to use my problem-solving skills in a new way.
